Special Dodge Monster Truck is offered at a Dutch auction

Special items are sometimes offered at auctions. This time a Dodge Monster Truck is sold in the Netherlands.

Monster trucks are often used for shows and events. The imposing machines have a lot of power, big tires and are of course not approved for public traffic. What to do with it, no idea. Maybe you can practice in a field to eventually join Monster Jam yourself.

In any case, it is something special that you can buy a monster truck at a Dutch auction. The roof of the car is a Dodge B200. The chassis of the monster truck comes from a Russian Ural-375.

Although the ad says the monster truck has 150 horsepower, the standard Ural 375D powertrain produces 180 horsepower. The engine block has 8 cylinders in a V-shape and a displacement of 7.0 liters. Power is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed gearbox.

The tires under the Dodge Ural-375D structure are 800/65 R32 in size. This tire size is common for tractors.

Not in the best condition

Although the Monster Truck looks cool at first glance, it really is a craft project. For example, you can find unfinished cables everywhere, there are two tanks at the back – probably for the fuel – and the carriage has a number of brown edges.

What would the monster truck bring

It’s unclear what Epic Auctions is expecting from the Dodge B200 for the special occasion. The starting amount is 750 euros.
