Ferrari employees get record bonus

Ferrari employees will soon receive a record bonus. CEO Benedetto Vigna says 5,000 people will receive an amount of 13,500 euros, up 12.5 percent from the year before.

Not only Ferrari grants its employees a big bonus. For example, we wrote last week that Mercedes employees also get a fat reward. The Stuttgart manufacturer pays an amount of 7,300 euros. Although that is significantly less than the super sports car manufacturer, the bonus from Mercedes reaches 93,000 employees.

Ferrari employees receive a record bonus of 13,500 euros

The fact that Ferrari can afford such a record bonus is due to the previous year’s sales. The brand delivered 13,221 vehicles in 2022, 18.5 percent more than a year earlier. The total turnover was 5 billion euros and the net profit for 2022 is 939 million euros.

Ferrari Portofino M

The good sales figures are mainly due to the Portofino M, SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB. The fastest growing market was Asia. In China, sales increased by 73 percent and the brand sold 1,552 cars. In America sales increased by 22 percent and 3,447 cars were sold. Europe remains the largest market with 5,958 new Ferraris purchased, an 8 percent increase from 2021.

Success model is still pending

And then the Purosangue has to come. Although purists may not be able to keep up with the upscale Ferrari – which should not be called an SUV. Is there a lot of interest in the crossover? The Purosangue will go on sale later this year and is expected to be a bestseller. What would be the bonus for Ferrari employees next year?
