The 1998 XJ8 – model code: X308 – has a 4.0-liter V8 with an output of 294 hp and 393 Nm of torque on board. The engine is mated to a five-speed ZF automatic transmission.

At first glance the Jag is in good condition. The conversion to the pickup seems to have been a success. Like American trucks, the XJ8 has a sliding window behind the seats and a tailgate that tilts down.

The XJ of the first generation is particularly popular as a pickup

A simple Google search tells us that the first generation Jaguar XJ is very popular with converters. We’ve already found eight. We also encountered an XJ40 (1986 – 1994) and an X300 (1994 – 1997).
