This gadget puts an end to great Tesla trouble

Perhaps one of the biggest annoyances among Tesla owners is the lack of physical buttons. Everything you want to adjust you have to do in the infotainment screen. While this looks nice, it sometimes distracts you from the road longer than you would like. The solution is here: the Ctrl bar.

Although, the solution is not there yet. The bar is currently just an idea with a prototype. The start-up has already raised enough money to start production.

The Ctrl bar puts an end to big Tesla troubles

You can already order the Ctrl-Bar, which puts an end to the Tesla trouble. Delivery of the first units is expected in June.

The Ctrl bar just works. It’s a strip that you place under your Tesla’s screen with two round buttons to change the temperature. You can assign a function to the four middle keys. You can use it, for example, to operate the heated seats, open the trunk and switch on the heated windows.

There is an LED strip at the bottom of the bar. This strip can be adjusted in different brightness levels and colors.

How does the Ctrl bar work?

Putting an end to Tesla hassles, the latch connects via Bluetooth and is powered by a USB cable connected to the USB port in the rear center console. Your phone runs the app in the background. The app gets the instructions from the bar, which it then communicates with your Tesla.

Enough money has already been raised to put the Ctrl bar into production. In fact, more than 36,000 euros have already been collected, while the target was 25,000.

For the first 25 customers, the accessories cost 199 euros. The other customers pay 239 euros.
