You can drive this Lamborghini Countach without a license!

Are cars still hanging in every boy’s or girl’s room? We do not know. The term “advertising car” seems to come from the eighties, when Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach competed most fiercely for square meters.

Which of the two won? We rely on the Lamborghini. Because even in the mid-1980s – ten years after its introduction – the Countach still looked like an aircraft from the distant future.

Lamborghini Countach Junior Agostini

Agostini Auto built this Countach Junior for the kids. Recreation, Agostini Auto built this Countach Junior for the rich kids, because the real Lambo toy car obviously didn’t come cheap.

The Italian manufacturer only built twenty examples of the Countach Junior (that’s number seventeen), for $50,000 each. So it’s no wonder that you’re now showing up at auction house RM Sotheby’s for 20,000 euros.

Petrol engine with two-speed automatic transmission

The Junior is almost indistinguishable from a real Lamborghini Countach, apart from being three times smaller. It has a GRP body with gullwing doors and a leather-trimmed interior.

It is powered by a 399 cc Briggs & Stratton engine mated to a two-speed automatic transmission with reverse. The Countach Junior has 10″ wheels, working lights and indicators, a horn and independent suspension.

Thorough restoration in November 2022

The current owner of this specimen was five years old when he got the Countach Junior. He has had it since 1995. In November 2022, the Mini Lambo was thoroughly restored.
