Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla among others, has been under fire for some time. A fall from “tall trees catches a lot of wind,” though Musk himself chooses to be in the spotlight. Now that the stock’s value isn’t doing well, it might be time to appoint a new CEO.
The turmoil surrounding Elon Musk arose with the takeover of Twitter and all his statements about the takeover. In this article we explain how bad this is for Tesla.
Tom Zhu on his way to become Tesla CEO
The generally well-informed Bloomberg reports that Tom Zhu is being groomed to become Tesla’s new CEO, succeeding Elon Musk. Zhu is no stranger to the company.

In 2014, the Chinese, who allegedly also has a New Zealand passport, started working at Tesla. He hasn’t been in the media much yet, but that doesn’t mean he’s not important to the company.
Tom Zhu was like fast Head of China Operations. The first factory in China is partly due to him. The entry-level version of the Tesla Model 3 no longer rolls off the assembly line in Fremont, California, but only in China. The cars produced here have a so-called “LFP” battery, which is a less advanced variety compared to Tesla’s standard Panasonic packs.

Autovisie had the Model 3 as a long-term tester for a few months. In the video below you can see what it’s like to live with this Model 3.
Enough about the Chinese factory and cars. Because when Tom Zhu succeeds Elon Musk, he will be in charge of all factories.
The successor to Tesla boss Elon Musk
According to employees Bloomberg spoke to, Zhu is the right person to succeed Elon Musk. Zhu does not yet have a contract for the term chief Executive Officer (the position directly below the CEO). Still, he would already oversee Tesla’s global manufacturing, sales and service. According to insiders, there is no doubt: Tom Zhu is the favorite to succeed Elon Musk.
