5 reasons why you don’t want a 1800+ horsepower Venom F5 Revolution coupe

Hennessey Performance shows an even more extreme version of the Venom F5. The name is: Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Coupe and the power is more than 1800 hp.

You probably already know the Venom F5 as a roadster and as a coupe. However, these models are nothing compared to the new version. We give you five reasons why you (don’t) want the brand new special hypercar.

Five reasons why you don’t want the 1800+ horsepower Venom F5 Revolution coupe

  1. The most powerful car without an electric motor

Hennessey claims to have developed the most powerful car without an electric motor. The 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 1846 hp and 1620 Nm of torque. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The top speed of the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Coupé is 400 kilometers per hour.

  1. Better driving characteristics than the other Hennessey Venom F5

The Venom F5 Revolution is lighter than the ‘base version’, Hennessey doesn’t know how much yet. The original weighs 1385 kilograms.

In addition, the chassis has been adapted for better cooling and airflow, and new spoilers ensure more downforce. At 300 kilometers per hour, the rear spoiler exerts 360 kilos of additional downward pressure on the rear. At 400 kilometers per hour, that’s 636 kilograms.

  1. He can drive on public roads

Although the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Coupe is a quirky car and the car is really only made for the race track, you can drive it on public roads. So you can just drive to the Nürburgring.

  1. Not a real American

Although the flags on the spoiler suggest otherwise, the F5 isn’t a true American. Under the skin, the car is a Lotus Exige, British.

On a birthday with a Bugatti and a Koenigsegg driver, you still have to explain why you bought an extreme version of the small sports car.

  1. Price

After all, you can buy a Bugatti or Koenigsegg for about the same money. The Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Coupé has a price of 2.52 million euros. Only 24 will be built. There are still a few copies left.
