Dive into the price list: the first electric jeep

The Jeep Avenger is the brand’s first-ever all-electric vehicle. We get to know the newcomer by looking at the price list.

Even the mostly traditional Jeep wants/must use the fully electric cars. Especially here in Europe. Fortunately, the brand can now rely on the excellent technology of the Stellantis Group. Based on (among others) the Peugeot e-2008 and the Opel Mokka-e, the brand introduces the Jeep Avenger. Luckily, while the underlying engineering is known, it has been made to look like a real Jeep on the outside. Of these triplets, the jeep has to be the best off-road as well, although for real off-road work you’ll need to take a different jeep model. Incidentally, electric alternatives are also on the way.

Specifications Jeep Avengers

The most important specifications at a glance. The electric motor delivers 156 hp and 260 Nm, with drive to the front wheels. The 100 km/h is reached in exactly nine seconds and the top speed is 150 km/h (limited). The range is 392 km (WLTP).

How much does it cost?

The Jeep Avenger is now available as a 1st Edition. It is available from 40,500 euros. That’s more than the Opel and Peugeot mentioned, but also a specially composed 1st edition. Over time, of course, there will be versions other than just the 1st Edition, and these other models will be cheaper.

Equipment 1st edition

As mentioned, the Jeep Avenger is richly equipped as a 1st Edition as standard. It’s a bit much to list everything, we’ll stick to the highlights: 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting front and rear, heated windscreen and door mirrors, touchless tailgate, heated front seats, 10.25-inch digital instruments, equal-sized Touchscreen for infotainment, wireless smartphone charger and adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assistant.

Decoration Jeep Avenger

As a 1st Edition, the Jeep Avenger is available in three body colors: standard non-metallic black, metallic gray with a black roof, and metallic yellow with a black roof. The optional colors have no extra charge. We choose yellow. Not only because it’s the only “real” color, but also because this color simply looks good on the car. When it comes to rims and interior, there is no choice. The upholstery is a cloth/vinyl combination in black with yellow accents. There are also no separate options for further decoration or equipment.

No doubt the regular trim levels will soon feature more trim options. Stellantis is usually known for the frivolity of its models.

Build your own Jeep Avenger

As a 1st edition, only the Jeep Avenger can be opted for in a different body colour, which keeps the price at 40,500 euros. Robust for this segment, but for this price you also get a very complete car. If there are more affordable versions, the Avenger could just be a big hit.
