The first Afghan car is a brutal hyper car! At least…

A car from Afghanistan is probably one of the last countries where you would expect a new car brand. The country faces many problems, but that doesn’t stop Muhammad Raza Ahmadin from building a brutal “hypercar.”

The Mada 9 was worked on for five years. The project is supported by the Afghan IT Ministry and various national innovation centers.

The first Afghan hypercar has a brutal look

The brutal-looking hypercar from Afghanistan has to compete with Bugattis and Paganis. And while such projects often fizzle out, the Mada 9 has already been driven in Kabul.

The suspension is inspired by that of a Formula 1 car. a so-called push rod-Suspension. This means that the strut extends from the lower wishbone to the top of the chassis. This has aerodynamic advantages over a pull barSuspension in which the wishbone has a pulling function. It’s not a special technique per se, but it does indicate that the Mada 9 was designed with track use in mind.

A four cylinder?

The space frame and the engine behind the front seats also contribute to this suspicion. However, the heart of the car seems to spoil the fun. Mada hasn’t revealed any specs, but the engine doesn’t sound like a W16 or a fat V12 in the pictures below. It sounds like a four-cylinder with an open exhaust. Is it alone show and no walk? Is it a hybrid? Or does the real engine still have to be installed? In any case, the small brake discs do not promise much good.

We just don’t know the exact details of the Mada 9 and what to expect from the project. The team will present the car at an exhibition in Qatar in a few weeks. For the time being we only have to be content with the short driving pictures and the trailer.
