Although the holidays are over and you might want to take it easy this month by buying gifts (for yourself), you can already add this set to your wish list. This is the LEGO Technic Ford GT that will be released next year.
A new range of LEGO Technic sets will arrive in the first quarter of 2023. The kit for the American super sports car will be available in stores from April.
The coolest LEGO set of 2023?
The LEGO Ford GT consists of 1,466 parts and is made on a scale of 1:12. The car is 9 cm high, 39 cm long and 18 cm wide.

The LEGO Technic set wouldn’t be called Technic if it weren’t an intricate structure with moving parts. The 2.5-liter twin-turbo V6 is therefore quite detailed. The pistons actually move. You can see this by opening the hood at the back. The set also has a differential between the rear wheels.

In addition, the set also has independent suspension, both front and rear, but the front axle is steerable and the spoiler is adjustable.
LEGO Ford GT April 2023 on sale for 119.95 euros
The LEGO Technic set of the Ford GT is made for adults over 18 years, so it is not a simple building set. In April, the set will cost 119.95 euros in the Netherlands and Belgium.
More fun than a Ford GT kit
A Ford Technic set is nice, of course, but car enthusiasts naturally prefer a real Ford GT. Although that is not feasible for many due to the price.

One car enthusiast who could drive the Ford GT is Autovisie editor Peter Hilhorst. “An exotic thoroughbred racing car with amazing looks. It’s raw, fast and loud,” wrote Peter. In the video below he guides you in and around the car. Because it’s so loud inside the GT, the video is subtitled.
