Design house Zagato is showing images of a Giulia SWB that can be described as the most beautiful Alfa Romeo ever – although the ZS and GT also top the list.

The two-door is basically a Giulia with a shortened wheelbase. The headlights are somewhat similar to those of the Tonale, and the engine and transmission are borrowed from the GTAm. In short: celebrate!

After all, there is something to celebrate. The Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB was designed by Zagato to celebrate 100 years of collaboration with Alfa Romeo.

And that’s where the party ends right away, because the Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato will not go into production. At first it was said that a small series of the car would be built. However, it only remains with this one model. The lucky one who owns the car is a German customer who has already collected several Alfa models. There are also several Aston Martin Zagatos in his garage at Alfist. Is he more of a “Zagatist”?

The Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato once saw the light of day as the Giulia Quadrifoglio. The engine was upgraded to that of the GTAm. That means under the hood is a 2.9-liter V6 that puts out 540 hp. The aluminum rims also come from the GTAm.

With this model, Zagato proves that a large radiator grille does not have to be ugly and that an ingenious body does not require many lips or other decorations.
