Remarkable! The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is cheaper than the Ioniq 5
Six is more than five, so expect the Hyundai Ioniq 6 to be priced higher than the Ioniq 5. But nothing is less true. Hyundai’s new electric sedan is actually cheaper. Although it doesn’t matter much.
With its starting price of 45,895 euros, the Ioniq 6 is slightly cheaper than the Ioniq 5, which starts at 46,795 euros. Both then have rear-wheel drive and a 53 kWh battery, with the Ioniq 6 being less powerful (151 hp vs. 170 hp).
Hyundai Ioniq 6 with a maximum range of 614 km
Anyone who wants an Ioniq 6 with more power (229 hp) will immediately get a larger battery (77.4 kWh). The WLTP range is then no less than 614 kilometers. With the 53 kWh battery, the Hyundai can travel a maximum of 429 kilometers.

At the top of the range is the all-wheel-drive version of the Ioniq 6, with the same 77.4kWh battery pack but with 325hp. They ensure a range of around 100 kilometers (now 519 kilometers).
Three versions: Style, Connect and Lounge
There are three versions of the Ioniq 6: Style, Connect and Lounge. The first comes standard with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (non-wireless), a reversing camera, cruise control with Lane Assist and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Those who opt for the Connect get a head-up display, a heat pump, battery heating and preconditioning, privacy glazing and heated seats. The top version Lounge stands on 20-inch wheels and has a premium audio system from Bose.

Funnily enough, you can also order the Lounge with 18-inch alloy. This is better for efficiency. Cameras instead of the exterior mirrors are also optional. They improve air resistance.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 available in one of eleven colors
Most electric cars today are only available in a handful of colors. The Ioniq 6 doesn’t. No fewer than eleven body colors are in the brochure.
Just like Hyundai Ioniq 5, a star in fast charging
Like the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6 is a star in fast charging. Thanks to an 800-volt on-board network, it reaches a speed of 225 kW at the right charging station. This means that the battery is 80 percent full again within half an hour.
