Do you know what a Florida man is? It’s a cliché based on the sometimes bizarre and idiotic behavior of Florida residents. For example, check out this Gymkhana 2022 video where rider Travis Pastrana performs his best Florida Man impersonation.

For those unfamiliar with the Gymkhana videos, they have become known for the insane antics of Ken Block performing the most incredible maneuvers while drifting and smoking. Each Gymkhana video is bigger and more dangerous than the last. In this Florida edition, the bar has been raised significantly.

Subaru station wagon with 874 hp and active aero

We know the car in which Travis Pastrana performs his stunts from the last Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s an 874 hp Subaru station wagon with all-wheel drive and a remarkably active aero system. Under the skin, it bears no resemblance to the old Subaru it resembles. Even the sled is new and made of lightweight carbon fiber.

Travis Pastrana four-time US Rally Champion

Travis Pastrana is a 39-year-old American racing driver who began his career as a motocross racer and later transitioned to rallying and the NASCAR championship. He won the US Rally title four times and won multiple medals at the X Games. He has also competed in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and started the American Nitro Rallycross Series.

Gymkhana 2022 starts with a failed base jump

In this Gymkhana 2022 video, Pastrana sustains injuries after a failed base jump (he can apparently laugh about it), lands full on the Subaru’s nose after a massive jump, and flies over the spinning blades of a helicopter. So look!
