Are you curious about the next electric Toyota? That’s him

Toyota started the momentum. We’re still recovering from yesterday’s Prius reveal and now we already have another new model on our computer screen. This is the Toyota bZ electric compact SUV concept. The smaller brother of the Toyota bZ4X.

There are currently two all-electric Toyotas: the China-only bZ3 and the bZ4X. The latter is an SUV the size of a RAV4. It is available with 204 or 218 hp and front or rear wheel drive. With its 71.4 kWh battery, the bZ4X has a range of around 450 kilometers. Fast charging is possible with a maximum of 150 kW.

Specifications are not yet known for this compact SUV concept from bZ. It doesn’t appear to be very production ready yet. At least not in the interior, where everything feels very minimalist, with two curved screens (one as a digital cockpit, the other as an infotainment screen) and a joystick.

Could this be the successor to the Toyota C-HR?

By the way, we have already seen the bZ Compact SUV Concept. At the end of last year, Toyota showed a large collection of study models. It featured Lexus and Toyota models, including this bZ compact SUV concept. It reminds us a bit of the C-HR. Would we sit here and look at its electric successor?
