Elon Musk: Tesla Roadster from 0 to 100 km/h in less than a second

Elon Musk is once again laying claim to his beloved Platform X (formerly Twitter). This time he states that the Tesla Roadster sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than a second.

There has been talk of a new roadster for some time. However, concrete numbers, specifications and dates have not yet been communicated.
