This is how much the Peugeot 2008 costs in the Netherlands

Last May Peugeot presented the new 2008. This car is available with both petrol and electric powertrains. Most prices were already known, but one powertrain was delayed: the Hybrid 136.

Peugeot is now also announcing the price of this engine. That means all 2008s have a price tag.

Hybrid 136 e-DCS6

The new Peugeot 2008 Hybrid 136 e-DCS6, as its full name is, costs at least 34,720 euros. For that money you get a mild hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.2-liter three-cylinder supported by an electric motor. The 136 is always equipped with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The system output is, you guessed it, 136 hp.

The electric motor produces 28 hp and not only supports the gasoline engine. On short journeys and at low speeds you can drive fully electric with the Peugeot 2008 Hybrid 136. More importantly, the new powertrain is more economical than its predecessor, the PureTech 130. Compared to this powertrain, you should save up to 15 percent fuel, says Peugeot.
