Leaked! This is the new Lancia Ypsilon EV from every angle

In February the Italians will pull the curtain on the brand new Lancia Ypsilon. An electric vehicle designed to breathe new life into the brand.

Still, you don’t have to wait until next month to try out the electric car. The new electric vehicle was spotted doing promotional shoots in Milan and was photographed surprisingly well.

The current generation is based on the Fiat 500 platform and is still selling like hotcakes in Italy. As an Italian you can drive the outgoing Lancia Ypsilon from 15,700 euros. We don’t seem to be seeing much of the previous model’s iconic look in the new Ypsilon EV.

It is clear to see that the new electric Lancia Ypsilon shares its base with the Stellantis family such as the Opel Corsa Electric and the Peugeot e-208. At the same time, the brand did its best to create its own (perhaps a little busy) design. This is also shown by pictures of the interior, where we see a striking round table in the center tunnel.

New electric vehicle in the water

It is not the first time that the new Lancia Ypsilon has been seen. Unfortunately for the brand, the previous meeting with the press was a somewhat embarrassing spectacle. A prototype landed on the water and as car paparazzi watched, the Italian electric vehicle was towed out of the canal.
