Skoda announces Scala at Dutch price

The Skoda Scala received an update last year. Now the brand is also announcing the prices of the facelift car.
There are currently almost 6,000 Skoda Scalas registered in the Netherlands. This makes the model significantly less popular than the Volkswagen Golf. Although the two models are close in size, the price of the Czech model is more similar to that of the also more popular Polo.
Price Skoda Scala
A Volkswagen Polo costs at least 26,990 euros in the Netherlands. A Golf costs from 36,990 euros. Compared to these two models, the Skoda Scala is competitively priced. The brand charges 26,490 euros for the entry-level model.

As with the Golf and Polo, the standard version of the Skoda Scala also has a 1.0-liter three-cylinder under the hood. This TSI is identical to that of the Polo, produces 95 hp and has a five-speed manual transmission.
The 1.0 TSI in the Golf produces at least 110 hp and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. The more powerful TSI with a six-speed gearbox is also offered in the Scala. The engine then produces 5 hp more than that of the Golf: 115 hp. The Skoda Scala’s more powerful drivetrain is also available with a seven-speed DSG.
