The Netherlands is full of speed cameras. There are also many mobile speed cameras. Flitsmeister lists the ten most popular speed camera locations.
Last year, the creators of the app also announced the top 10. Although the lists don’t have many locations in common, the most popular speed camera location remains the same.
The ten most popular speed camera locations in the Netherlands
The ten most popular speed camera locations were determined based on the number of speed cameras there in 2023. The same locations do not have to remain popular with speed cameras in 2024.

All ten of the Netherlands’ most popular speed cameras are located in the west of the country. This was also the case last year, although there has clearly been a shift towards South Holland.
The longest traffic jams
Flitsmeister not only tracks the locations of the speed cameras, but also alerts you to delays. The longest traffic jam of the year was on the A2 between Veghel and Zaltbommel. The delay increased to 147 minutes. The traffic jam was almost 13 kilometers long and already existed early on the morning of Wednesday, November 8th.
