Huge SUVs have long been popular in America, but people in other parts of the world also love big cars. Xpeng is reportedly working on a massive SUV that could compete with a Cadillac Escalade.
Large SUVs are also becoming increasingly popular in Europe, although it is still difficult to park and maneuver a 5.5 meter long car in our narrow cities.
The Chinese Cadillac Escalade
You don’t often see cars like the Cadillac Escalade in the Netherlands. Xpeng already offers a G9 that, with a length of just under 4.9 meters, cannot be described as compact. However, the upcoming model is even longer.

The gigantic Xpeng will therefore be positioned above the G9 and 10,000 copies would initially be built.
According to leaked documents, the car was built in Guangzhou and is 5.45 meters long, 2.3 meters wide and 2.05 meters high. Comparable to a Cadillac Escalde.
The body shape of the Xpeng is still unknown
It is still unclear what the car will look like. The model is expected to be an SUV, but it could also take the form of Dongfeng’s M-Hero. What could also be that the electric car the brand will build is a production version of the drone MPV that Xpeng previously showed off.

Although the Xpeng will be electric, the Escalde can also be ordered with a large V8. You can see how bizarre this car is in the video below.
