Dive into the price list: This is how much the new BMW X2 costs

The BMW X2 has changed its shape with the new model generation. The model can now also be ordered. Time to dive into the price list for a more in-depth introduction.

BMW’s SUV range is quite clear. The X models with an odd number are “normal” SUVs and the X models with an even number are the “coupe version”. The BMW X2 was a notable exception, but this was remedied with the completely new model generation. Below we’ll tell you everything about the new X2 and the differences from the BMW X1, now let’s dive into the price list and put it together.

BMW X2 engines

There are four engine variants of the BMW X2 available at market launch. In order of performance, these are the sDrive13d, sDrive20i, M35i and the all-electric (iX2) xDrive30. The output ranges from 115 kW (156 hp) (with a temporary power increase of 14 (19 hp) additionally) for the sDrive20i to 230 kW (313 hp) for the BMW iX2 xDrive30. The diesel is also the least fast variant, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h. The iX2 is the most powerful, but not the fastest. This is the M35i, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h. The BMW iX2 has a fixed transmission, the petrol models always have a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Prices BMW X2

The starting price of the BMW X2 is 53,445 euros for the sDrive20i. This is followed by the BMW iX2 xDrive30 with a starting price of 59,353 euros, closely followed by the sDrive18d for at least 61,020 euros. As expected, the M35i is by far the most expensive with a starting price of 84,244 euros. More than 30,000 of this sum consists of taxes, two thirds of which are BPM… But that is the version we currently choose. The BMW X2 is positioned as a sportier variant of the X1, so we want to try that out.

Equipment BMW X2

A BMW is richly equipped as standard and we will not list this in its entirety here. We stick with the highlights: full LED lighting, 19-inch light alloy wheels, leather sports steering wheel, BMW Live Cockpit Plus with BMW Curved Display, parking assistant including Active Park Distance Control and reversing camera, cruise control with braking function and automatic tailgate operation.

The BMW, a leather-wrapped M Sport steering wheel and a Harman Kardon audio system.

Outdoor decoration

The BMW X2 comes standard in boring white. This applies to every performance. With the M35i we can choose between black, two shades of gray, a striking gray-green, dark blue and dark red for an additional charge of 1,030 euros. A third shade of gray is available for 1,749 euros and the dark blue color and one of the gray shades are also available in a matt version for 2,849 euros. It may be a bit predictable, but in our opinion the dark blue presentation color looks best. It’s not for nothing that BMW chose this color to present the M variant.

You can choose between five types of rims for the BMW X2 M35i. You can swap the standard 20-inch M wheels for 19-inch wheels with a different design at no additional cost. BMW installs a different type of 20-inch wheels for 160 euros. For 854 euros 21-inch rims, optionally with extra black. We’ll stick with the standard 20-inch models.

Interior decoration

Continue to the interior of the BMW X2. As standard, they are surrounded by black Alcantara in combination with black artificial leather. Blue stitching adds some color. For an additional charge of 863 euros, you can choose between the upholstery colors dark brown, white, beige, black (without Alcantara) or (partially) bright red. For 1,932 euros you get genuine leather, available in black, beige and dark brown. We opt for the artificial leather version, which BMW calls Atlas Gray with Smoke White.

Then there are the interior strips. Standard is aluminum with a hexagon pattern. Frames in high-gloss black (245 euros), aluminum with a mesh pattern (374 euros) and aluminum with graphic accents (also 374 euros) are optionally available. We rely on graphic accents, something different.

Packages and individual options

Then we come to the option packages. There is the Premium package (1,794 euros), the Innovation package (3,494 euros) and the M Sport package Pro (1,995 euros). The first includes adaptive headlights, auto-dimming mirrors, Comfort Access (keyless entry) and soundproof glass. The innovation package includes more or less the same thing as well as a head-up display, the BMW Live Cockpit Professional infotainment system and Parking Assistant Plus. The M Sport package Pro offers further black accents, M sport seats at the front, red brake calipers and belts with M stripes. The Pro sports package cannot be combined with our choice of upholstery, so we are sticking with the Innovation package.

Other individual options include steering wheel heating (202 euros), front seat heating (373 euros), massage function for the front seats (510 euros), electric seat adjustment (907 euros), the M high-gloss Shadow Line (267 euros). ), Personal eSIM (325 euros), a panoramic glass roof (1,420 euros) and additional driving assistants (640 or 854 euros, depending on the package). We stick with the steering wheel and seat heating and the Shadow Line.
