The Mustang driver tried to pass in front of a filming group of passersby, and the owner of the Honda was tricked into hitting the accelerator by a passerby who gave him a thumbs up. The same passer-by also managed to capture the serious accident on camera.

When you try to accelerate, the rear wheels lose traction and the rear ends up swerving. An attempt to counter-steer is of no use and the S2000 lands roughly on the edge. A photo of the damage suggests that this cult hero has been declared a total loss.

It’s a shame, because not only was it a nice example (well, with a questionable trunk fender), but the Honda S2000 has also increased in value significantly in recent years. Most examples on the Gaspedal.nl sales page cost between 25,000 and 50,000 euros. Fortunately, the cheapest S2000 used car in the Netherlands is still affordable.
