This Bugatti Chiron literally belonged to an old lady

“Belongs to an old lady” will be on a used car page in a few years when this Bugatti Chiron 57 One of One comes up for sale. Because that’s exactly what it is.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 57 One of One is a unique super sports car designed for a 70 year old lady. She has been a fan of the Type 57 SC Atlantic for twenty years and wanted a tribute.

Assembling the Bugatti Chiron

“I still remember it well. I visited the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard (California – RS) and there it was sitting all alone on a platform. I fell in love immediately.”

People often fall in love with rare and expensive classics, but this lady is lucky enough to have a very wealthy Bugatti enthusiast as a husband.

On her 70th birthday she received an invitation from Bugatti to Molsheim. Her husband arranged for her to configure her own Chiron Super Sport there.

What a different world! We don’t even have the money to let our wife put together a new Kia Picanto. Anyway, we’ll try not to feel too inadequate…

Tribute to Atlantic

As you can see from the photos, the lady matched her Chiron Super Sport with the Type 57 SC Atlantic that she once saw. Both are decorated in a silver-blue color and have a chrome-plated radiator grille with bars.

You can also find references to the Type 57 SC Atlantic everywhere in and on the Chiron, such as the hand-drawn silhouette at the bottom of the rear wing.

More than 3.5 million euros

How much did the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 57 One of One cost? That remains a mystery. But it will undoubtedly be more than the 3.5 million euros that a standard version costs.
