The new all-electric Renault Twingo will be dirt cheap

Renault is working on the new generation of the Renault Twingo. We can now share the first images and specifications of the dirt-cheap electric car.

Currently this is a conceptual model called “Legend”. The design clearly shows that it is a successor to the Twingo.

The new Renault Twingo

The fully electric Renault Twingo costs less than 20,000 euros. This amount is without deducting any subsidies. The rental price is then less than 100 euros per month.

Renault Twingo, electric

The car is not only cheap to buy, but also uses energy economically – as you would expect from a Renault Twingo. According to the manufacturer, the small city car consumes 10 kWh per 100 kilometers.

In terms of design, the fully electric Renault Twingo is similar to the first generation. The headlights, air scoops and of course the typical handles are a nod to the previous generation(s).

Built in Europe

The new all-electric Renault Twingo will be built in Europe and will be part of a fleet of seven electric cars that the brand will have on offer in 2031, including the affordable 5. The new Twingo is expected to be on sale from 2026.
