Tesla Cybertruck in the flesh sparks fierce criticism

Last week, a matte black Tesla Cybertruck was spotted on public roads with chief designer Franz von Holzhausen behind the wheel. However, when EV fans saw the electric car up close, they felt a sense of disappointment.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been a long time coming. The electric pick-up was presented somewhat clumsily in 2019. Elon Musk claimed the car was equipped with bulletproof glass, but when a steel ball was thrown at the side window during a demo, it turned out the glass wasn’t that strong.

When will the Tesla Cybertruck be released?

Nevertheless, fans of the brand were eagerly waiting for the eccentric electric vehicle. However, their patience was tested as the production date kept getting pushed back. Production has finally started and the first models are expected to ship at the end of this month.

The question is whether that early adopters should be so happy about that. The example in which Von Holzhausen was seen has closing seams between which you can park a Smart. This is according to photos posted by Twitterer – or rather X’er – Daniel Golson after he collided with the Tesla Cybertruck.

Huge cracks

These are huge Plate gaps on the fenders, side windows and other panels of the Tesla Cybertruck. Also the way the light bar on the tailgate connects to the fixed lighting on the corners of the pickup. The critic is obviously not a fan of the model. When someone asks him if there’s anything else they noticed about the car, he replies, “Yes, every part of the car looks like junk.” I hope it helps.”

Elon Musk’s electric car brand has never been known for its build quality, even though electric cars are much better designed today. This cannot be said about this matt black Tesla Cybertruck, which suggests that in this case it is still a pre-production model. This is also to be hoped for buyers of the pickup.
