We’re changing our name to Phantom Vision because we want to warn you on Halloween. Take care! Before you know it, you come across one of these horror cars in a traffic jam on the A4.
Horror movies you’re likely to see on Halloween are about everything: a clown, the devil’s child, a demon that kills you in your dreams, aliens, and—amazingly—a car.
Be careful on Halloween
Sometimes the vehicle itself is terrible, sometimes the person behind the wheel is at fault. Either way, be careful, because you’ll only encounter one of these killers on your way home tonight.
Duel (1971)

The television film with which director Steven Spielberg achieved his breakthrough in 1971. The story is simple. A man is killed by the driver of an old truck while on a business trip.
The Car (1977)

It’s immediately clear that this Lincoln Continental has evil intentions. Look at these headlights! In the 1977 film “The Car,” there appears to be no driver behind the dark windows.
Christina (1983)

Christine is the blood red Plymouth Fury (Wink, wink) from the 1983 John Carpenter film of the same name. She kills anyone who gets in the way of her new owner, the nerdy teenager Annie Cunningham.
Knight Rider (1982-1986)

There’s also a horror element in this wonderful ’80s series starring David Hasselhoff and KITT, his talking Pontiac Trans Am. KITT’s “little brother” named KARR is a cold-blooded murderer.
Maximum Overdrive (1986)

It’s not a good movie, but Maximum Overdrive definitely belongs on this list. All machines on Earth come to life and begin hunting humans. In this case, a Western Star Truck is the star.
Proof of Death (2007)

In cult director Quentin Tarantino’s 2007 film “Death Proof,” Kurt Russell plays a stuntman who causes fatal accidents in his specially prepared Chevy Nova and Dodge Charger.
