A used luxury electric car that is 4 years old costs 50% of the new price

Autovisie is always looking for used cars for enthusiasts and therefore searches the lists on the sales site Gaspedal.nl. This time we found a used electric car that only costs 50 percent of the new price after four years: the Audi e-tron.

The previous generation of the Audi e-tron, when the model did not yet bear the “Q8” badge, was not known for its economy. In practice it turned out that the range was significantly less than the stated 300 kilometers. The new generation also consumes more than the factory states.

Used electric cars for 50 percent of the price

Expect a used electric car to have a range of 250 kilometers and 200 kilometers when driving on the highway. When it’s cold, a little more range is lost. Could this also be the reason why this used car has lost almost 50 percent of its price in 4 years? The car is sold at the dealer for 36,945 euros, the list price was 70,045 euros.

This car is by no means the only first-generation Audi e-tron to sell for this relatively low price. There are even more used Audi e-tron cars for sale for this money. After all, the e-tron 50 with the 71.2 kWh (gross) battery and two electric motors produces 313 hp and 540 Nm of torque.

The used car

This used electric car was delivered in the Netherlands in 2019, had one owner and just over 135,000 kilometers of experience. Although you can buy it for a fraction of the new price, 37 grand is of course a significant amount.
