Even before a Cybertruck had left the production line, the internet was full of RV kits and trailers for the electric vehicle. Although this police car is also a render and the plans are not concrete, it is more than an idea.

The Tesla Cybertruck as a police car

None other than Larry Ellison talks about the Tesla Cybertruck as a police car during Oracle’s CloudWork conference in Las Vegas. Ellison is a co-founder of Oracle and sits on the board of Tesla.

Oracle is a company that, among other things, produces software for the police. They’re not developing a police car yet.

But that could change. “The next generation police car is coming to market very soon,” says Larry Ellison. It is unclear whether this is serious.

He does say that the Cybertruck would be ideal as a police car. It has a stainless steel housing, is safe and fast enough to make life difficult for many criminals.

More impressive than a B-Class

In addition, the Tesla Cybertruck already has built-in cameras that you can use. Tesla’s screen would also be good enough to handle police functions. The fact is that the Cybertruck is much more impressive than a Mercedes-Benz B-Class, a Ford Kuga or a BMW X1.

The Tesla Cybertruck also has a disadvantage, namely its price. In the Netherlands we should never expect the model to be used as a police car. It’s still unclear if we’ll ever see it in America.
