Wolf in sheep’s clothing: This van is a super deluxe camper

A Volkswagen Transporter, an Opel Vivaro or a Citroën C1. We are now used to special motorhome renovations. Nevertheless, this camper is very noticeable, or rather not.

The basis is an old white Ford E-450, a completely normal van that any moving company – in America – can drive. Still, there is something special about this old workhorse.

A panel van as a mobile home

The van was serviced by Epic Skoolies, a company that specializes in converting school buses into RVs. While the 1999 Ford looks like a furniture store retiree from the outside, the American’s 160,000 miles (257,495 kilometers) proves that true beauty comes from within.

Through the back door you enter the truck in an attractive space with nice lighting and teak finish. In the living room you will find two sofas. In the evening you can turn the sofas into beds. Under the seats you will find storage space for clothes.

The camper is fully equipped and even has a 32 inch smart TV and two JBL speakers. Below the speakers you will find a wooden door that gives you access to the cabin.

A large kitchen and a luxury shower

In addition to the living room, the van has a kitchen with a large fridge, a microwave, an oven and a 3-burner gas stove. From the kitchen you go towards the bathroom. This also includes a shower, which many motorhome owners are jealous of. A toilet is in the same room.

A panel van is usually not really well insulated. To keep the camper warm, the space has good heating – and cooling – and the floor is vinyl planks.

All devices are powered by a propane tank, solar panels or simply by connecting the motorhome to the mains. It’s unclear how much the complete remodeling cost. It should be clear that this is not a cheap camper – nor a discarded van.
