Buff SLR McLaren with 722 engine upgrade

The flagship coupe going under the hammer at Bonhams auction house is not a 722 version but has the engine upgrade of this special edition. The eight-cylinder now delivers 650 hp and 820 Nm.

The equipment of this Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren will not be to everyone’s taste, pale yellow with a bright red interior, but it is one of a kind. Bonhams therefore expects the car to fetch between 300,000 and 500,000 euros next week.

Distinctive SLR roadster with exactly the same equipment

It was originally delivered in Switzerland, just like the SLR Roadster on this site. Due to the matching technical data, we assume that both copies belonged to the same owner.
