The color of a car is perhaps one of the most important decisions you make when making a purchase. Although the choice has already been made for you when it comes to a used car, you can of course also search specifically for a colour. Your searches tell us what the 10 most popular used car colors are.
The figures are the result of a study by Gas Pedal.nl and AutoTrack. The analysis covers the month of June 2023.
These are the 10 most popular used car colors
As always, black is number 1. Of those people who indicate a color when searching for a used car, more than 23 percent want a black car. White is second and gray is third.

Boring is the right word when we look at the Dutch fleet’s color palette. Silver has also overtaken blue and red this month when searching for a used car. Yellow and orange have both become much more popular. Despite this, one of these colors is only searched for in 1.9 percent of the cases. Of the non-boring colors, blue and red are the most popular, although of course dark blue also falls under the color blue.
