A masseur is said to have raped a customer at the luxury Ritz hotel in Paris. The police have started an investigation into the woman’s allegations, the Public Prosecution Service reported on Monday evening, confirming a report from the French television channel BFMTV. According to the report, the 26-year-old accuses the masseur of first massaging her breasts for a “prolonged” period and then raping her repeatedly.

Hotel management stated that the man “no longer works for the Ritz Paris.” The Ritz will provide authorities with “all available information”. “The safety of our customers and our employees is of paramount importance to the Ritz Paris,” assured the luxury hotel.
