German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (42) shared a photo in her Instagram story following her visit to the World Climate Conference in Dubai. The remarkable thing about it: the photo shows her bare foot. “I’m actually used to walking in high heels for hours – but since this is likely to last longer, I might have to think about other shoes!” she writes.
The political message behind the photo is said to be that the Green politician made a special effort during the marathon negotiations. According to the motto: Bubbles ran to save the climate!
The WikiFeet platform also became aware of the photo. This is a site for foot fetschists. The site, founded in 2008 by Israeli programmer Eli Ozer, receives millions of views every month with images of celebrities’ feet. Baerbock’s snapshot was well received.
