A submarine that regularly transports tourists see the remains of the Titanic went missing in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean off the east coast of the US, forcing the Boston Coast Guard to launch a search and rescue operation.
The Coast Guard confirmed to the British channel BBC that the operation had begun, although for now it is not known if there were any passengers on the submarine and, if any, how many.
From time to time, various companies offer submarine tours to see the remains of the Titanic, which is located at a depth of about 3,800 meters and at a distance of about 640 kilometers from the Canadian island of Newfoundland. The multi-day trips to the sinking area costs several tens of thousands of small dollars and includes a descent to the wreck, which takes about eight hours.

The wreck of the Titanic lies about 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland. Without any cell towers in the middle of the ocean that we rely on @starlink to ensure the communication we need during this year’s Titanic 2023 expedition.
