FC Thun regains the lead in the Challenge League in Saturday’s 10th round match. However, the Bernese Oberlanders missed out on victory in a 1-1 draw at home against Neuchâtel Xamax.

Koro Koné puts the home team ahead in the first half with his sixth goal of the season. After an hour, Franck Surdez took advantage of a misunderstanding by Thun to equalize.

Xamax thus takes away points from coach Mauro Lustrinelli’s promotion candidate after the 4-0 home win two months ago in the second game of the season. Thun now leads the rankings with an equal points lead over FC Sion. The Valais won the top match of the match against Wil 3-0 on Friday. (SDA)
