An embarrassing spelling error has crept into the dressing room of the recently renovated Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The young person’s locker reads “Bellimgham” in large letters. This is what fans discover in a video of the Getafe game on Real Madrid’s social media channels. On the Internet, the Spaniards are ridiculed and mocked for this mistake.
It is not the first time that Real Madrid has mislabeled a player safe. Last year defender Antonio Rüdiger (30) was replaced by “Rüdiguer” in capital letters.
But if Jude Bellingham keeps up the good work and continues to mesmerize Real fans with his performances, his name will soon only be spelled correctly in Madrid. (byl)
