At Alfa-Sauber, the tragedy continued in Styria. After the total crash in the sprint (19th Zhou, 20th Bottas) during the GP of Austria on Sunday with no chance of points, at least some result cosmetics were applied: 14th Zhou, 16th Bottas.

This with only one dropout: Hülkenberg, who retired with engine damage, but had scored three points for Haas-Ferrari in the sprint.

It was a heavy blow for Hinwil, who was very lucky on Sunday. Because seven laps before the end, Stroll pushed Albon from last place in the points in the Williams-Mercedes! With nine points, Alfa-Sauber remains in 8th place behind Haas (11) and ahead of Williams (7).

Well, Bottas had another incident on his weak start (lost four places). Before him, Tsunoda lost some car parts. A piece apparently damaged the Finn’s right front wing. But Bottas was already in 18th place at the time and his times did not show any major changes as a result. His fastest race lap came on lap 49. Zhou drove bravely. Unfortunately without ambitions ahead.
