Switzerland, for example, offers only 85 percent of the capacities in 2019 this year. Tourist demand is greater than supply – the result is price increases.

Sebastian Ebel, who has been head of Tui AG since October, knows this too. In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, Ebel tells Tui there has been “extraordinarily high demand” for the summer. Greece is very popular with Germans. In some resorts, there are almost no hotel beds left.
