Silver Star, Blue Fire and Euro-Mir will be more expensive for visitors next year: Europa-Park in Rust (D) is increasing its prices again in 2024.

According to the online booking system, the price of a standard day ticket at Germany’s largest theme park will be between 61.50 euros and 69.50 euros, depending on the day of the week, from 23 March 2024; This corresponds to an increase of almost seven percent. You still have to pay between 57.50 and 65 euros until January 7, 2024.

All visitors aged twelve and over are considered adults in the park. The last price increase was around 5 percent at the beginning of 2023. Many media organizations had reported this before.

6 million visitors – a record!

Europa Park management decided on this modest increase: “Despite large cost increases in all areas of the company caused by inflation, high wage and labor costs, as well as high energy prices, well above 15 percent.” In international industry comparison, Europa-Park is still very cheap.

A new rollercoaster called “Voltron Neverapowered by Rimac” awaits Europa Park visitors in the 2024 season. «This 1,385 meter long attraction is the longest multiple launch coaster on the continent. “The world’s steepest launch, at 105 degrees, adds a whole new dimension to the adrenaline rush immediately after the catapult launch,” said a spokesperson. The first part of the new Croatian theme area will also be opened.

More than six million people visited the park in 2023, more than ever before. The approximately 5,800 beds at the park’s hotel complex were often fully occupied. Before the coronavirus outbreak, the park in South Baden hosted more than 5.7 million people in 2019. There were serious declines in 2020 and 2021 due to Corona. More than 4,500 people work in the park.

Millions of damages occurred due to fire

This year Europa-Park had to deal with undesirable events. Two firefighters were slightly injured in a fire that broke out in the technical room at the “Yomi Magic World of Diamonds” event in June. The fire, which harmed millions of people, was probably caused by a technical malfunction. In August, following an accident, a pool of water at a dive center burst open and the diving towers attached to it collapsed. Five artists and two visitors were injured. (SDA/sfa)
