Entrance to Europa Park will become almost seven percent more expensive. Biden warns China: American army would fight for the Philippines

From 2024, visitors to Europa-Park Rust in southwestern Germany will have to prepare for further price increases.

According to the online booking system, a standard day ticket in Germany’s largest theme park will cost between 61.50 euros and 69.50 euros from March 23, 2024 and depending on the day of the week – that corresponds to an increase of almost seven percent. Until January 7, 2024 you still have to pay between 57.50 euros and 65 euros.

All visitors aged twelve and over are considered adults in the park. The last price increase was about five percent at the beginning of 2023. Several media outlets had previously reported on it.

“Despite enormous cost increases at all levels of the company, which are caused by inflation, higher wage and labor costs, but also higher energy prices and which are well above 15 percent,” Europa Park management decided on this moderate increase. In an international industry comparison, Europa-Park is still very cheap.

Several new products for 2024

A new roller coaster called “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” awaits visitors to Europa Park in the 2024 season. «This 1,385 meter long attraction is the longest multi-launch roller coaster on the continent. The steepest launch in the world at 105 degrees provides a completely new dimension of adrenaline rush immediately after the catapult launch,” said a spokesperson. The first part of the new Croatian theme area will also be opened.

In 2023, more than six million people visited the park – more than ever before. The approximately 5,800 beds in the park’s hotel complex were often fully booked. Before the corona pandemic, the park in South Baden welcomed more than 5.7 million people in 2019. In 2020 and 2021 there were significant declines due to Corona. More than 4,500 people work at the park.

This year, Europa-Park was confronted with unwanted incidents. Two firefighters were slightly injured in a fire in June in a technical room of the “Yomi Magic World of Diamonds” attraction. The fire that caused millions in damage was probably caused by a technical defect. In August, after an accident, a pool of water at a diving attraction broke open and the associated diving towers collapsed. Five artists and two visitors were injured.
