“Symphonic Queen” concert, first time in Panama

Everything is ready for the “Queen Symphonic” concert, a show that combines vitality rock the majesty of orchestral instruments.

Earlier this year, Emanuel Olivieri, director of The Camerata Philharmonic Orchestra (now Camerata Pops) from Puerto Rico held auditions to meet, identify and select
musicians who will be part of a new orchestra called “SinfoPops Panama”.

This is how this orchestra was born with more than 50 young musicians, experienced musicians, among others.

Emanuel Olivieri knew about Panama through calls he received from Active club 20-30 Las Cumbresthrough Fede Herrera, now a member of the company “Tapping” and who joins as part of the production and sponsor of the event.

This first presentation “SinfoPops Panama” will be dedicated to the music of the legendary group Queen, one of the most successful bands in history.

The symphonic arrangements created especially for this production are responsible for this Emmanuel Olivierifamous producer, arranger, orchestra leader and professor at the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico.

To embody Freddie Mercury, the singer One Wiz was invited, who has an extraordinary career as a singer, actor, multi-instrumentalist and producer, sharing the stage with the likes of Enanitos Verdes, Timbiriche, Fonseca, Hombres G and Chayanna. In addition, Jesús Montenegro known as “Jesus Jamon” is in charge of the choreography that will be a part Show.

This event will be held this Thursday, April 27th at the Anayansi Theater at 8:00pm and tickets are on sale at Panatickets for $20.

“SinfoPops Panama”

It is a new Panamanian orchestra dedicated to offering symphonic concerts for all kinds of audiences.

His repertoire will include film scores, Broadway musicals, video games, anime, rock pop, Among other things, tropical, light classical music and concerts for children.

One of their missions will be to support Panamanian artists, employing local musicians and offering exposure to emerging talent, both performers and composers.
