Thanks to the FFF White Nights, these 4 films will soon be in cinemas – including the belated sequel to a horror hit with the ‘Game Of Thrones’ star

‘Game Of Thrones’ star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the sequel to his almost thirty-year-old horror success, the battle against hundreds of beavers, a family with a monstrous secret and a model fascinated by a sadistic murderer – in the fantasy On the White Nights film festival, a whole series of special genre films will be shown in cinemas in early 2024.

After we were able to tell you a few weeks ago that the long-awaited horror film “When Evil Lurks” by “Terrified” director Demián Rugna would premiere there, as a media partner of the festival we can now offer you four more titles for the upcoming edition White Nights reveal .

From the end of January to mid-February you can enjoy the following films in seven German cities.

“Night Watch: Demons Are Forever”

In 1994, Ole Bornedal celebrated his breakthrough with the nasty horror hit ‘Nightwatch’ and a few years later the Hollywood remake followed with ‘Freeze’. After films like “Deliver Us From Evil” or “Possession” he now returns Night Watch: Demons are forever back to his beginnings – and also together with his “Nightwatch” protagonist Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who has now achieved world fame thanks to “Game Of Thrones”.

About 30 years after the events of the first film, young student Emma (Fanny Leander Bornedal) follows in the footsteps of her father Martin (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) when she takes the job as a night watchman in the forensic medicine department. She also gains access to the psychopathic serial killer Wörmer (Ulf Pilgaard), who almost killed her parents. But with that she wakes him up… and he quickly wants to kill again…

“Hundreds of Beavers”

Bee Hundreds of Beavers the movie title says it all. An apple schnapps seller who likes to drink his own product has to fight hundreds of beavers.

Mike Cheslik makes his directorial debut after several short films and is working on the award-winning low-budget horror insider tip “Lake Michigan Monster” – which is certainly twice as fun if you have an apple schnapps or two in your blood. .

“Amelia’s Children”

The Portuguese horror film is much more serious Amelia’s children with Brigette Lundy-Paine from the Netflix hit ‘Atypical’. The focus is on young Edward, who finally wants to know where he comes from. In a villa in the mountains he hopes to find the answer and not only his mother, but also his twin brother. But he has no idea what monstrous secret he will encounter.

“Red Rooms”

In the dark corners of the internet, so-called Red Rooms exist: live streams that allow you to watch people being murdered, tortured and sexually abused on camera. It is very doubtful whether this really exists, but it is of course the material for a thriller.

Of Red Rooms Canadian director Pascal Plante begins at an interesting point in telling such a story. Because the serial killer Ludovic Chevalier (Maxwell McCabe-Lokos) who was filming his actions has already been arrested. Now he is being tried. Kelly-Anne (Juliette Gariépy) is in court every day. The model becomes increasingly obsessed with Chevalier and his morbid fantasies. Above all, she wants to get her hands on a missing video that allegedly shows the murder of a 13-year-old girl. Because the teen looks strikingly like her…
