Presenting the ‘Panama Triangle’ at Expo Viajes Costa Rica

In a revolutionary proposal aimed at reshaping the traditional tourist experience in the country, it was presented at Costa Rica Travel Expo 2023new round “Panama Triangle”.

This proposal, designed for an experience of 5 to 7 nights, invites you to explore three characteristic aspects of the country: the cool mountain of Tierras Altas, the lively Caribbean Bocas del Toro and the mystical Pacific of Boca Chica.

The mission of this round is to offer travel agencies and travelers, who traditionally lean towards packages that combine Panama City, shopping and the beach, offering them a fresh and diverse alternative that enhances Panama’s natural and cultural wealth.

The “Panama Triangle” is not only distinguished by its content, but also for its connectivity options.

Land transfers are offered taking advantage of strategic border crossings in between Costa Rica and Panama.

Additionally, for those looking for a simpler experience, Alliances with regional airlines have been established.

In this sense, the recent news of the airline company SANSA stands out. which, starting November 16, will provide two weekly flights connecting San José with Isla Colón in Bocas del Toro.

In addition, Air Panama expects to inaugurate the San José-David route early next year, which will further facilitate mobility between the two countries.

“With the ‘Panama Triangle’, we aim to redefine travel expectations, encouraging travel agencies to expand their offer and present themselves “Panama not only as a city and a beach destination, but as a country of contrasts, landscapes and unique experiences,” commented Maru Gálvez, president of the Tierras Altas Tourism Chamber.

During the Costa Rica Travel Expo 2023. Panama was represented by Promtur, the Tourism Chamber of Tierras Altas, Bocas del Toro and travel agencies and hoteliers from Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro.
