Technology adoption with a direct impact on productivity

Technology has had a positive impact on the productivity of teams. 68% companies that were consulted in Panama and Central America, pointed out María Gabriela Fábrega, manager of Michael Page Panama.

The executive specifies that the adoption of technology brings great benefits such as automating processes, eliminating time spent on repetitive tasks and using data to make strategic decisions.

“Today the adoption is complete, 100% of our clients Panama and Central America They are already using some of these tools in their work teams and companies,” he pointed out.

Fábrega explained that the financial sector is one of the most advanced in technology adoption, mainly due to the rise of Fintech in the Latin American region. Another sector leading the way in the use of technology is technology and logistics.

“The healthcare sector is increasingly involved in technology implementation processes and demanding comprehensive profiles with technology and digital skills that enable the consolidation of an innovative way of thinking and optimize resources and time,” he added.

Artificial Intelligence
For the executive, artificial intelligence will affect the issue of employment within the labor market.

“Already today we see organizations using it to be able to make processes free of all human bias and thus ensure a truly inclusive and diverse culture. Today, only 15% of companies use it in this way, but its use is expected to increase significantly,” he explained.

On the other hand, he pointed out that this tool will also be a way of finding the most difficult candidates as required by companies, far from being seen as a threat, it is seen as a key productivity opportunity.

“Without a doubt, the world of work must increasingly work on the issue of organizational culture from virtuality, so all these digital tools that enable connectivity will be key to effective leadership, as well as consolidation of effective work teams and cohesive. At the same time, it will enable talent to retain their talent because it affects the well-being and mental health of employees,” said the spokesperson.
