Recently, several tabloids have published articles citing alcoholism as the cause of Roman’s illness. At the same time, they quoted Semenovic about him – about how the skater drank vodka, washed it down with beer, cursed his partner and refused to train.

The former soloist of the group Brilliant said that she gave this interview 22 years ago. “Everyone drank after the competition,” admitted Anna. – Everyone was arguing. When people ride in pairs, it’s a natural process. There was swearing at training and curses could fly. But I did not say that Rom is an alcoholic, that he is a bastard. This is a terrible slander. It was maddeningly unpleasant for me to read the headlines for which journalists rated their publications.

The pair Anna Semenovich – Roman Kostomarov, led by Natalie Linichuk, won silver at the Russian Championship in 2000. After that, it was considered the second strongest Russian duet after Irina Lobacheva – Ilya Averbukh.

“I like Roma a lot,” assured the performer of the “Sexy Bombshell” hit. “I’ve known him since I was 10 years old. I skated with him for a year and a half. We were friends, we talked. In America, we lived together in the Russian House, ate from the same plates, from the same refrigerator.

After waking up from a coma, Kostomarov began to communicate via voice messages with friends – Ilya Averbukh, Tatyana Navka, Marat Basharov, Alexander Zhulin and others. However, the 46-year-old skater does not speak to Semenović. He learns about the condition of his ex-partner from other people.

“I sympathize madly with the Roma. I constantly communicate with Tána Navka, find out how he is doing and with the other skaters. I wish him to cope with this situation, I wish him good health. He is a legendary athlete, a great husband and father – he has a wonderful wife, two children. I want to convey words of support to his loved ones, because we are all worried about him, “said Anna in an interview with Alena Zhigalova.

Two days ago, Kostomarov showed for the first time what he looks like after the coma and amputation. “They took me out of the other world,” he said.
