Viasat celebrated 20 years of broadcasting in Russia. The festive evening was held in the Design Center ARTPLAY. An original entertainment program, futuristic installations and photo zones, an exhibition with art objects were prepared for the guests of the event.
With the help of the new spectacular 3D mapping technology, the walls came to life and transported the guests to the film sets of cult films, historical locations, cold jungles and hot deserts, allowing them to feel the atmosphere of riding sports. A stylish LED photo zone with dynamic 3D video projections was installed in one of the halls.

In addition, an exhibition of conceptual art objects created with a touch of humor was organized. It turns out that all the exhibits are closely related to important milestones in the history of the company and the films shown. Among them are playful recognizable attributes from popular films, a figure in the form of the first logo of the viju TV1000 channel and others.
“Twenty years ago, we started with the launch of two TV channels – the popular foreign cinema viju TV1000 and the documentary and entertainment viju Explore,” said Aleksey Krol, CEO of Viasat. — We got closer to 2023 by expanding to 13 popular channels and a streaming service. We select only high quality content for you. Our channel library contains thousands of the best movies, series, documentaries and sports shows. We have set ambitious goals and will continue to strive to surprise our beloved viewers!’
Company representatives spoke in detail about the extensive rebranding. In the 20 years of Viasat’s presence on the Russian market, this has become a logical step. From March 1, all TV channels were merged into a single viju (I see) brand system and changed their identity. The content of the channels remained the same.
At the gala, the company also announced that action channels viju TV1000, viju TV1000 Russian, viju TV1000 are moving to separate time zone broadcasts. In the near future, residents of Russian regions will be able to watch movies and TV shows in local time broadcasts.

The popular band “Stupně” performed for the holiday guests. The musicians performed their best-known songs and congratulated the company from the stage.
