Henry Cavill in World War II: The first photo of the war action “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is here!

Guy Ritchie (“RockNRolla”) has become a real workhaolic in recent years. A new comic by the Briton is now on the big screen almost every year. And this trend continues, although some compromises will be made in the future, at least in this country. While Operation Fortune hit theaters earlier this year (due out in April on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K), The Covenant, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and war actor The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare are coming direct to Amazon Prime video in this country.

Lead actor Henry Cavill (“Man Of Steel”), who previously worked with Guy Ritchie on “Codename UNCLE”, has now has released a first photo of “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare”. However, this is not just a frame from the film, but a kind of film still, which also features co-stars Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Henry Golding. The special thing about the photo: it is true to the style of the photography standards of the 1940s.

Is Guy Ritchie making his own Inglourious Basterds?

The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare revolves around the (true) story behind a top-secret fighting organization of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond creator Ian Fleming that was active during World War II. The rather unorthodox and not exactly tame methods used in the fight against Adolf Hitler were instrumental in changing the course of the war and bringing Nazi Germany to its knees.

In addition to the aforementioned Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson (“Reacher”), Henry Golding (“The Gentlemen”), Alex Pettyfer (“Magic Mike”) and Hero Fiennes Tiffin (“After Passion”), Eiza González (“Ambulance”) ), Til Schweiger (“Manta, Manta – Zwoter Teil”), Cary Elwes (“Saw”) and Babs Olusanmokun (“Dune”) join the cast.

Paul Tamasy (The Outpost), Eric Johnson (The Fighter), Arash Amel (Grace Of Monaco) and Guy Ritchie write The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warface. They are based on the bestseller of the same name by war correspondent and military historian Damien Lewis. The movie would look like a cross between James Bond and Inglourious Basterds. The producer is probably also in for the necessary spectacle Jerry Bruckheimer (“Top Gun: Maverick”).
