Scarlet coat and the Queen’s favorite brooch: Kate Middleton appeared in public in a radiant form 03/02/2023, 10:35

The British darling is never wrong when it comes to formal wear. Kate Middleton and Prince William attend the St David’s Parade at Combermere, Windsor.

The Princess of Wales wore a red Alexander McQueen coat with black accessories. She completed her look with a Juliette Botterill Millinery bodycon midi dress, Gianvito Rossi knee-high soft suede boots, a Mulberry purse and Cornelia James patent patent leather gloves. A catchy accessory to the image of the royal person was a black hat with a bow and feathers.

Kate wore her hair in a sleek updo with extra volume and a glamorous makeover with smoky eyeshadow, blush and coral lipstick. Prince William’s wife wore laconic diamond earrings and a unique leek brooch from the collection of the late Queen. This jewel was designed for Elizabeth II in 1960, she liked it very much and wore it more than once to official events.

The Princess of Wales enjoyed her special favor during the Queen’s lifetime and had an almost unlimited right to wear her exclusive jewels. After the death of her husband’s grandmother, she retained this privilege.

Kate’s latest outing in designer clothes and rare jewelery contrasted with her previous more modest looks. So she appeared in £18 earrings from the mass-market brand and donned a £20 check skirt from Zara for a visit to Wales on the eve of the day, the Daily Mail reports.

The fitted coat of the Princess of Wales accentuated her slender figure. Recently, she often chooses outfits in shades of red. According to fashion experts, it’s her way of dealing with the high-profile scandals that have exposed the disgraced royal couple – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

At the event, Kate Middleton met a 9-year-old boy, Thomas Lucas, who is the same age as her eldest son, Prince George. The schoolboy was not surprised by the sight of the royal guest and invited her to look at his achievements. The boy “stole the show” by performing an impromptu backflip. “That’s extraordinary, I’m impressed,” laughed the princess.
