Change in Russian Armed Forces: After Yevgeny Prigozhins (62) Russian mercenary troop Wagner was withdrawn from the war front, the troops of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov (46) should remedy the situation.
The exchange apparently caused bad blood between Chechnya and the Wagner boss, according to various videos on social media. In it, high-ranking Chechen politicians and members of the military set their sights on Prigozhin – and fired at him with the greatest force.
The impetus for the scandal was a statement by Prigozhin on Telegram. In it he wrote that he did not know what the Chechen special unit Akhmad was doing at the front.
The commander of Kadyrov’s “Kadyrovtsy” unit, Adam Sultanovich Delimkhanov (53), and Magomed Daudov (43), chairman of the Chechen parliament, did not give up.
In a video on Telegram, Daudov finds clear words for Prigozhin’s verbal attack: “You would have been shot for such a statement in World War II,” says Mediaslot: Stories
Delimkhanov, who belongs to the close circle of the Chechen ruler Kadyrov, also does not seem to understand the statement of the Wagner boss. “You don’t understand what the Akhmad unit is doing, but you don’t need to understand it either,” said the Chechen politician. Instead of “talking, shouting and screaming,” he would rather say where they can meet to “solve the matter personally,” Delimkhanov continued.
Daudow also blows the same horn: “Specify your location. Always and everywhere, man to man, we will tell each other what we have to say.”
In addition to Prigozhin’s Akhmad statement, senior Chechen politicians also criticize the rhetoric of the Wagner boss, who has repeatedly railed against the Russian authorities and their army in recent weeks.
“Don’t forget to whom you owe a private military company, airplanes, helicopters and 50,000 fighters,” Daudow said.
Despite all the support the Wagner boss received from the Ministry of Defense, he was unable to contain the losses. “We all know how many soldiers died in Bakhmut when Prigozhin was in charge,” Delimkhanov said.
Even Chechen leader Kadyrov seems to doubt that the change at the front will bring any success to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition to martial law, he also demanded that Putin use nuclear bombs. (dzc)
