Missing since May 9: Yulia S. was found dead in a barn in Germany.

Investigators found the bodies of two missing people in a barn in the Sauerland. According to inside information, it can be assumed that Andrej M.* († 41) killed his ex-partner Yulia S.* († 22) and then himself, the Dortmund police said on Monday. The 22-year-old from Marsberg had been missing since May 9 and the woman’s mother had called the police.

In the course of the investigation, the officials reportedly came across unspecified objects in a wooded area in Marsberg that belonged to the missing person. The case was subsequently classified as murder – also based on witness statements. A homicide commission took over the investigation. The police also found the dead in the barn in Marsberg last Saturday. An autopsy confirmed the identities of the bodies. (AFP/jmh)
